Bass-A-Thon is a unique format benefit event that counts on angler participation to raise money for good causes. This event is a “No-Cull” event which means that every fish you catch will count towards your total limit. If you catch fifty 12″ fish then your limit would be 600″! We ask that every angler attain at least one sponsor to donate per inch, per fish, or a lump sum. Each year a different cause will be chosen to donate to. This event will also have cash and prize payouts as usual, and it will also have AOY points awarded. In addition, there will also be a special prize to the angler that raises (and collects) the most money!

Eligible Waters: Willamette River North of Peoria Park (44.455650, -123.210346) to the line created by connecting Kelly Point (45.650833, -122.762918) and Belle Vue Point (45.656117, -122.767293) at the confluence of the Willamette and Columbia Rivers. For this competition, no map will be provided as the tournament waters are too large to effectively map. Backwaters off the Willamette known as sloughs are eligible to fish. A slough is a body of water with little to no current that either seasonally or never receives flow from a moving body of water. If the tributary is named anything with a term related to running water (creek, river, brook, etc) then you may fish from the confluence into the tributary 200 yards. You may launch anywhere you like but you cannot catch fish from anywhere but inside these guidelines. For example… if the closest launch to your fishing spot is 1 mile away from the Willamette on a tributary, then you can launch there and paddle down to the 200 yard marker and begin fishing. If you have ANY questions as to what water is eligible or not, please contact Aaron Roberts at email@example.com. You must have your GPS Location Services turned on for this tournament. I can see where you took the GPS photo, and if it isn’t on the eligible waters… it will be denied. If you need help getting your Location Services turned on or don’t know if they are already, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org
Rules: All valid fish photos count towards your limit, there will be no culling.
